Big Apple education is an academic initiative established in 2018, In order to explore more and better international opportunities for higher education and career education for the student population in Sri Lanka.
We believe in the policy of giving top priority to human resource development, in the process of developing the county, since 95% of our student population become deprived of higher education opportunities, annually. It’s a timely concern that we initiate some contributory actions to change these grave conditions of national interest.
In its active role, the educational system (both ‘formal’ and ‘non-formal’), should be concerned with technical Innovations and transformation of the productive structure. This includes the raising of the productivity levels by evolving new Techniques, which are genuinely superior to existing techniques, in local contributions.
But fundamental technical innovations would not be successful without corresponding social innovations. Therefore, the educational system should produce men and women, who can undertake the social and political innovations.
Our understanding, in this county, of science and mathematics is limited and so inadequate. Basic health care is so poor. Technological and economic advances are too slow. Technical advance seems to bring the destruction of much of the environment. The lack of self-respect and self-control and respect for others, which manifest itself in the kind of unities violence to which we all have been subject for the last several decades. Millions of young people who will never know the full measure of their freedom, because they have been raised without order, without love, without family, without even the basic safety. That is why we should care for children and ---- change required in the developing process.
In order to improve the quality of national life, we engage in providing seminars, teaching and educational programs for young people, giving insight into the latest leadership theories, and management techniques. Our goal is to prepare the young people to exercise their skills effectively to achieve their goals in life. So, it is intended to change their attitudes towards the development of true personality and bring in a new approach to life style and recognizing the ideal career path, in which they can thrive. We also facilitate them with new concepts “Maths Lab” and “Language Lab” for better new syllabus in growing them with skills, peaceful, pleasant and healthy societies are another best place to live in. So let us together make our beautiful country, a better place to live by bringing the young generation up to meet the Global Standard.
